3 Communication settings

Click on

tion
to open the

Unit configuration
window ap-
pears:
•
Under
COM port
select for each instrument the number of the
serial interface (

) to which this instrument is connected. If
a softswitch is used then the option
Softswitch in use
must be
switched on. Under
COM port
the number of the serial inter-
face to which the softswitch is connected is selected; under
Softswitch port
the number of the interface on the softswitch to
which the instrument is connected is selected.

Click on
<OK>
to close the
Unit configuration
window.

Confirm the message which then appears with
<OK>
.
4 Close the program and start it up again
•
Close the program with
763 PVC THERMOMAT CONTROL / File /
Exit
.
•
Restart the «PVC Thermomat 1.0» program by double-
clicking the program icon.
•
In the
Login
window enter the
Password
for the administrator.
The control window appears. In the status line the message
Unit#: Ready
should appear for all connected instruments.
