Creating and Installing a Trouble-Ticket Alert Template
OMPM has a provision to enable you to create and install a Trouble-Ticket Template.
To create and install a Trouble-Ticket Template, perform the following steps:
NOTE:
Ensure the presence of CRLF at each of the following instances:

After variable and content
•
Between two variables (a single line gap)
1 Open an editor that supports UTF-8 encoding, such as Notepad.
2 Create a template in the following format:
3 Save the template as a .txt file with UTF-8 encoding at the following location " <OMPM Install
directory>\Dell Printers\ OpenManage\OMPMv2.0\alert_templates
" folder.

# Alert map variable. This is optional.
Replace the text "
<PRIMARY ALERT TYPE>
" with the alert type selected.
For example, if the alert type selected is Toner, then enter
%OMPM_AT_MAP_TONER%. Refer to Mapping Alert Type with Custom
Trouble-Ticket Alert Template.

# Enter only one system e-mail address.
NOTE:
E-mail address must not exceed 768 characters.
