8. If this is the last task you are performing, replace the riser card assembly and the chassis cover.

Reconnect all the external devices and plug in the power cord(s).

4.9

Installing RMM4Lite

The Remote Management Module (RMM) solution for the CG2200 server uses RMM4 in the iBMC on the
S2600CO server board. To use the RMM4 functionality either a separately orderable RMM4 NIC must be
installed at the rear of the chassis (the Intel® Remote Management Module 4 kit in the previous
procedure) or the Intel® Remote Management 4 Lite kit, which is only the RMM4 key card.

To enable RMM4Lite you must first remove the chassis cover and the left-side, slot 2 riser card assembly.

1. Power down the server and remove all peripheral devices and the power cord(s)

2. Remove the chassis cover. For instructions, see “Removing the Chassis Cover”.

3. Remove the left-side, slot 2 riser card assembly. For instructions, see “Removing a Riser Card

Assembly”.

4. Install the RMM4 key. (Figure 41)
