3.1.5 Trap/Notification Destination Table

The Trap Table menu (see Figure 3-6), allows the customer to determine where the trap will be
set by specifying Host Management IP Address, the port, trap type, and security level.

3.2 Trap Configuration

Trap configuration defines the handling of various alarm events. You can log and/or send each
event, as well as disable the traps. From the System Configuration menu, type 2 and press
<Enter>. The Trap Configuration menu (see Figure 3-7) appears. The 9145 has 13 traps with 4
configurable states. The traps can be set to Log Only, Send Only, Both Log and Send, or Dis-
abled.
