5.6 Link Aggregation
The 9145EMP supports Link Aggregation (LAG) as a link protection mechanism on Network
ports. Only one LAG group is configured in the system, labeled LAG 1. Only Network ports can
be assigned to the LAG. Moreover, if the LAG mode is enabled on the network side, then traffic
cannot be sent on individual Network ports.
To configure LAG or view LAG Statistics, from the Port Information screen (Figure 5-1), select
Link Aggregation (6) and press Enter. The Link Aggregation Main Menu (Figure 5-13) opens.
