■ 400 SETUP

Eight of fundamentals are set up for the system.

The menus 430, 460 and 470 will be replaced with dashed

lines when the unit is set to a receiver.

1. The 400 SETUP menu appears when you press the

ENTER button after selecting it in the 000 TOP menu,

2. Select a menu you wish to set up from the 410, 420,

430, 440, 450, 460, 470, and 480, then press the

ENTER, The selected menu appears.

410 RE-CONNECTION

Re-connection is started by the site that is set to ON for this
setting when a call is interrupted during communication.

This setting is applicable only to the system comprising two
WJ-NT204 units, one for TRANSMITTER and the other for

RECEIVER, and when the call has been made with the
Remote Controller WV-CU20. This does not perform in the

multi-site connection.

410 RE-CONNECTION

1. Open the 410 RE-CONNECTION menu.

2. Select either ON or OFF with the direction button. The

default setting is ON,

ON: Re-connection is enabled.
OFF: Disabled.

420 SERIAUHOST PORT

Serial and Host ports are set up in this menu.

421 SERIAL DATA PORT!
422 HOST PORT!

1. Open the 420 SERIAL/HOST PORT menu.

2, Select a menu you wish to set up from the 421 and 422,

then press the ENTER. The selected menu appears.

421 SERIAL DATA PORT: Select this when the system

comprises a Matrix Switcher (WJ-SX550A/B),

Digital Disk Recorder or other PS'Data devices,

422 HOST PORT: Select this when the system con­

nects with a personal computer,

The DIP switch #4 on the rear of the unit specifies the

usable serial port from RS-232C or RS-485 (PS’Data). The
settings below must be the same among the devices con­
nected in the chain, except the unit #.

1. Open the 421 SERIAL DATA PORT menu.

2. Move the cursor to RATE, then select a Baud rate with

the or ► button.
The default setting is 9600.

4800: 4800 bps (bit per second)

9600: 9600 bps

19200: 19200 bps
