You can check every 5 events in chronological order

on the monitor at a time. The event type is denoted as
follows.

CALUNG: Calling made in the site
CALLED: Reception made in the site

L*DISC: Disconnection took place in the site

R-DISC: Disconnection took place in the other site
CLD: Calling site received during communication

2. Press the A or T button to scroll up or down the page.

3. Press the ESC button to return the menu to the previ­

ous.

650 SERIAL DATA PORT

This menu lets you check the serial port setup whether to

be the same as that of the other site concerned.

1. Open the 650 SERIAL DATA PORT menu.

660 LOCAL LOOPBACK (In Standby Only)

This test simulates how much quality of the video and audio

are received without routing signals to the other site.
Thanks to the built-in circuit to the unit, the simulated video

appears on the monitor, and the audio comes out via the
speaker in its-own site.

1. Open the 660 LOCAL LOOPBACK menu.

2. Move the cursor to VIDEO or AUDIO, then press the

ENTER.

VIDEO: Simulated video appears on the monitor.
AUDIO: Simulated audio is supplied through the

speaker.

Observe the simulated video or audio carefully. The

monitor screen changes blue when no video is sup­
plied to the unit.

3. Press the ESC button to return the window to the previ­

ous one.

Note: Video switch changing can not be implemented

during the local loopback test.

2. Observe each parameter comparing with that of the

other site. If you find any difference, remedy to match

both settings as the same.

3. Press the ESC button to return the menu back to the

previous.

670 VERSION

Software versions are displayed on the monitor.

1. Open the 670 VERSION menu.

All versions for the REMOTE site are displayed as
000000-00 in the standby status, but in communication
they will be displayed.

ous one,
