Let’s suppose that you have typed “The quick broen fox...” (“broen” is suspect)

Use cursor to select. Press RETURN.

1. If you select IGNORE: the system start searching for the next suspect word.

The word “broen” will not be corrected.

If you selected SUGGESTION: a menu of possible replacement words appears.

Use (3 QEid (3 to select the replacement word and press MiTWWl. The

word will automatically replace the one in the text, and the system starts
searching for the next suspect word. If the correct word does not appear in

the suggestion menu, press

to return to the first menu and select

RETYPE as explained below.

If you select RETYPE: an input area appears so that you can type the correct

word:

The quick broen fox...

Type word and press RETURN*

RETYPE WORD :____________

You can immediately type the correct word and press MBMW. The correct
word replaces the one in the text, and the system starts searching for the

next suspect word.

You can also press ^ first. This will display the suspect word in the input
area so that you can correct it in a few keystrokes. Press i^RliW when the
word is corrected.

If you select ADD: the suspect word is added to the user dictionary. (From now

on, it will not be considered “suspect” any more.) The following message
appears:

Word added to user dictionary.

NOTE:

If you add words to the user dictionary you will have to save the user dictio­

nary onto a diskette before turning the power off (See “Saving the User Dic­

tionary” on page 115.)
