NOTES:

The width of a single column must range between 7 and 71 characters. The

word processor does not allow you to make a column narrower than the larg­

est data already entered in that column.

The maximum width of a record is 168 characters.

Creating a New Record

When you start with a blank merge file, the file contains a single record. After you
enter data into this record, the word processor automatically adds a new empty

record. Pressing BBtWW moves the cursor to the beginning of the new record.

Moving the Cursor

You can use the following keys to move the cursor across your file:
