Place test buttonhole fabric between foot and
underplate. Align buttonhole start line on
fabric with horizontal red guideline on foot.
Then align center line of buttonhole marked
on fabric with vertical guideline of buttonhole
foot. Lower buttonhole foot.
Push foot from back of button carrier toward
you, to engage buttonhole lever.
Touch I or I on stitch panel to acti
vate des red buttonhole. When stitch has
been activated, a beep will be heard and a red
light will be seen over the buttonhole symbol
as well as the pattern repeat symbol © .
The light over the pattern repeat symbol indi
cates that your needle will automatically stop
stitching when the buttonhole is completed.
Start machine. Needle will stop moving when
buttonhole is completed. Remove work from
machine, secure and clip thread ends.
