Attaching a Button
buttons
• Stitch: zig-zag |
• Stitch width: to suit button
• Button foot
• Feed cover plate
ATTACHING A BUTTON
• Be sure to turn off machine before attaching
button foot and feed cover piate. When ac
cessories are in place, turn on machine.
• Touch I zig-zag.
• Touch ------- the four dashes located on
the orange line in the center of the stitch
selection panel in order to turn on digital
fine tuning.

• Touch vw on the digital fine tuning sec
tion to light up stitch width setting 9.
1. While holding threads in left hand, turn
hand wheel toward you until needle has en
tered needle plate three times, needle has
returned to left position, and take-up lever
is in high position.

Position threads under button foot
diagonaliy to left rear.
3. Place garment under button foot. Then
position button on garment making sure
the holes In the button are centered be
tween toes of button foot.
