The modes are not mutually exclusive. In different cases, you can
have more than one in effect.
U s i n g N u m e r i c / N o r m a l M o d e
Numeric/Normal mode is the default mode when the printer is
turned on.
4 - l i n e / 3 3 K e y P r i n t e r
This mode allows you to use the following keys on the keypad:
◆
Numeric keys
◆ Symbol keys
When you are in Numeric/Normal mode, no indicators appear.
8 - l i n e / 4 8 K e y P r i n t e r
This mode allows you to use the following keys on the keypad:
◆ Numeric keys
◆ The space key
◆ The alphabetic keys (producing lower-case letters).
When you are in Numeric/Normal mode, nothing appears on the
status line.
