2. Scroll with the left arrow until you highlight the stock type you
want: synthetic, paper, or fax. Press e. You will see:
Barcode Type:
1) Serial
3. Scroll with the left arrow until you highlight the bar code type
you want: Serial, Maxicode, Parallel/Serial, or Parallel. Press
e.
4. You will see an Adjustment horizontal scroll bar.
5. The default setting for the selected bar code type is indicated
by a number and a solid block on the bar. Use the right arrow
key to increase the contrast and the left arrow key to
decrease the contrast in increments of 1. Press eto
save the adjustment.
C h e c k i n g t h e S e n s o r s
The Sensors menu provides the following selections:
On-Demand Tests the On-Demand sensor.
Black Mark Tests the Black Mark sensor.
To check the sensors, scroll until you highlight Sensors on the
Hardware Test sub-menu. Press e
