Enabling / disabling seams in a sewing program

In a sewing program, individual seams can be disabled and the se-

quence of the seams can be changed

.

A disabled seam is not perma-

nently erased; it can always be reenabled, if required. This function af-

fects only the currently selected sewing program. You should always

note the current setting as a modified sewing program does not indicate

which seams are disabled.

1. Select the SEWING SEQUENCE function:

D

• Press the b key.

2. Position the cursor on the number of the seam that is to be disabled:

• Press the &or / key.

3. Disable seam:

• Press the 0 key at the numeric keypad.

4. Confirm change:

• Press the ( key.

On the display, the seam number disappears from the sewing sequence.

To reenable the seam:

1. Select the SEWING SEQUENCE function:

D

• Press the b key.

2. Determine the position of the seam in the sewing sequence. Position

the cursor on the seam number for which the seam is to be sewn (all

subsequent seam numbers must then be reentered):

• Press the &or / key.

3. Enable seam:

• Enter the seam number using the numeric keypad
