2. Remove the lens retaining ring, the spring washer, the lens window (not shown below), and the lens holder
washer from the lens holder and gently push the lens out of the holder onto a clean lens wipe. Never touch the
lens surface with bare skin.

Notes: Always wear gloves and only handle the lens by the edges.
Isopropyl alcohol, REAGENT GRADE, is the only recommended cleaning solvent. Gently clean both sides
of the lens with clean, canned air to remove loose dust and debris.
1. Clean both sides of the lens, using a new lens wipe for each pass. Apply a few drops of Isopropyl alcohol to
the edge of the lens wipe and slowly pull it across the surface with gentle pressure. Discard the wipe after one
use.
