Using the Local Address Book

You can store frequently used e-mail addresses in the machine’s

memory called the Local address book. Once you store e-mail

addresses in the local address book, you can retrieve the

addresses anytime you send an e-mail using Address Book.

Adding an E-mail Address to the Local
Address Book

Press E-mail. The e-mail idle screen displays “From” or “My
Login Name” on the top line according to the authentication

setting your system administrator made through the

authorized user setup. For details, see “Setting Authorized

Users” on page 7.3.

Press Menu until “E-Mail Features” displays on the top line
of the display.

Press the scroll buttons to display “Local Address Book” and
press Enter.

Press the scroll buttons until “New” displays on the bottom
line and then press Enter.

Enter a name using the alphabet keypad and then press
Enter

Enter the e-mail address using the alphabet keypad and
then press Enter. You can include numbers in the e-mail

address by using the number keypad.

When the display shows “Another Address?” select “Add”
and then press Enter. The maximum number of entries

that can be added to the Address Book is 100. When you

finish adding the addresses, select “Done” when the display

shows “Another Address?”, and then press Enter.

To add another e-mail address, repeat steps 5 through 7.

To return to idle mode, press Stop/Clear.
