Using the Group Mail

You can store several e-mail addresses in a specific group and

quickly send e-mails to the group members.

Creating a Group Mail

1

Press E-mail. The e-mail idle screen displays “From” or “My
Login Name” on the top line according to the authentication

setting your system administrator made through the

authorized user setup. For details, see “Setting Authorized

Users” on page 7.3.

2

Press Menu until “E-Mail Features” appears on the top line
of the display.

3

Press the scroll buttons until “Group Mail” displays on the
bottom line and then press Enter.

4

Press the scroll buttons until “New” displays on the bottom
line and then press Enter.

5

Enter a group number (1 to 50) using the number keypad
and then press Enter.

6

Enter a group name using the alphabet keypad and then
press Enter.

You can skip this step without entering a name. If there is

no group name, a group number displays when you view or

edit the group.

7

Enter an e-mail address that you want to include in the
group and then press Enter.

You can directly enter an e-mail address using the alphabet

keypad. You can include numbers in

the e-mail address by

using the number keypad.

You can also retrieve an e-mail address from the local or

global addressbook by pressing Address Book. Select

“Local” or “Global” according to the addressbook type. The

local addressbook contains e-mail addresses stored in your

machine. The global addressbook shows the addresses

retrieved from the configured LDAP server.
