• Mirror ID: Mirror ID. This column is blank if the journal group’s attribute is neither Master nor

Restore.

• S/N: Remote disk array’s serial number. This column is blank if the journal group’s attribute is

neither Master nor Restore.

• Pair JNLG: Number of a journal group in the remote disk array. This column is blank if the journal

group’s attribute is neither Master nor Restore.

• Controller ID: Remote disk array’s controller ID (that is, disk array family ID). This column is blank if

the journal group’s attribute is neither Master nor Restore.

NOTE:

The controller ID for an XP10000/XP12000 disk array is 4.

• Path Gr. ID: Path group IDs, which are used to identify path groups (that is, groups of logical paths).

Up to eight logical paths can be registered in one path group. This column is blank if the journal

group’s attribute is neither Master nor Restore.

• CLPR: Journal group’s CLPR number.
• CTG: Number of a consistency group to which the mirror belongs. This column is blank if the journal

group does not have any volume pair.

Preset: Detailed information about operations that will occur when you click Apply.
• List: Displays changes made in the pane. When you change settings in the pane, the changes are

displayed in the Preset list before the changes are applied to the disk arrays. If you are sure that

information in the Preset is correct, click Apply to apply the settings.

NOTE:

When the Preset list displays changes made, you can only perform the same type of

operation that you have been doing, and cannot perform most other operations. You can only view

detailed information about journal groups even when the Preset list displays changes. For example,

if you are trying to delete journal groups and the Preset list displays the journal groups you want to

delete, you cannot perform other operations, such as splitting or restoring mirrors.

HaltAccept

An operation for splitting the mirror has been started. The status of the journal group

immediately changes to Halting.

NOTE:

HaltAccept can indicate the status of restore journal groups, but cannot indicate the

status of master journal groups.

Halting

An operation for splitting or deleting the mirror is in progress. The primary and secondary

volumes are not synchronized.
When you split a mirror, the status changes in the following order: Halting, Halt, Stopping,

and finally Stop.
When you delete a mirror, the status changes in the following order: Halting, Halt, Stopping,

Stop, and finally Initial.

Halt

An operation for splitting or deleting the mirror is in progress. The primary and secondary

volumes are not synchronized.

Stopping

An operation for splitting or deleting the mirror is in progress. The primary and secondary

volumes are not synchronized.

Stop

Either of the following:

The operation for splitting the mirror is finished.

The operation for deleting the mirror is in progress.

The primary and secondary volumes are not synchronized.

Blank

No data volumes are registered in this journal group.
