Injecting
In the Injecting position, ports 1 and 2, 3 and 4, and 5 and 6 are con-
nected to each another.
The transfer solution now flows through port 5 into the 6-port valve,
through the sample loop and back out through port 4. At the same
time, the absorber solution flows through port 1 into the 6-port valve
and directly back out through port 2.
In this valve position, the absorber solution in the sample loop is
flushed to the analyzer together with the transfer solution.
