3.5.4 MIC-2 modular anionic system with chemical suppression and sam-
ple dilution
This system requires the model 2.838.0120 of the 838 Advanced
Sample Processor.
The 838 Advanced Sample Processor is connected to an anionic IC
system with chemical suppression with 819 IC detector, 820 IC Separa-
tion Centre, 818 IC pump, 833 IC Liquid Handling Unit and 830 IC Inter-
face in accordance with Figure 32 using the 6.2141.190 remote cable
and the 6.2134.100 RS232 cable.

Example program (sample dilution) for the 838 Advanced Sample Processor:
Conditions:
• Dosino drive with 10 ml dosing unit connected to MSB connection 1
• Stirrer connected to MSB connection 2
• Mixing volume 5 ml (this is defined in «IC Net 2.3» in the configuration
of the 838)
• Rinsing vessel defined as special beaker at rack position 149
(6.2041.440 rack)
• Needle positions: "special" = 80 mm, "work" = 125 mm
