Recording with One-Touch Recording (continued)

To extend the recording duration while

recording

Press • REC/OTR until the new duration you want

appears.

• When the regular recording is resumed by pressing • REC/

OTR repeatedly, One-Touch Recording is canceled.

• If the tape reaches the end during One-Touch Recording, ©

flashes in the display window.

• When timer recording is in progress, if you try to program

another One-Touch Timer Recording for later, 0 will appear
to indicate that your prior recording is stiil in progress. ,

Setting the timer

You can set up to six programs within one month of the
current date.

Before setting the timer

• Check that the VCR clock is set correctly.
• Insert a cassette with its erasure prevention tab in place.

Make sure the tape is longer than the recording time.

• To set the timer for a CATV (or satélite) channel, check

that the CATV (or satélite) receiver is turned on and the
channel you want to record is selected.

• Check that the REC SYSTEM button corresponding to the

color system in which you want to record is pressed.
