Expert Mode (BERT)

Expert Mode allows the configuration of the thresholds for which each
statistic will be compared to declare a PASS or FAIL verdict.

Press TEST and Expert Mode.

General Properties

Expert Mode: Allows enabling/disabling the Expert Mode. This setting is
disabled by default.

Expert Mode Status

Verdict: Gives the verdict, Pass or Fail, of the Port, Ethernet and Pattern
tests according to the Expert Mode settings.

Note: The verdict results are only available when the Expert Mode has been

enabled and when the test is completed or stopped.

Verdict

Description

Pass

If all result values meet the configured criteria.

Fail

If any result value does not meet the configured criteria.

“--”

Is displayed when at least one of the following conditions is met: the Expert
Mode
is not enabled, there is no defined criterion, or when the specific test has

not run yet.
