Fit the new programme ROM in place of the original A version
shown in Figure 9.

Take care to ensure that the connectors are not damaged and
that it is connected the right way round.

Having completed this procedure, reassemble the instrument.

Although these boards are fully tested prior to despatch from our works,
it is advisable to verify their performance after fitting by following the
usual procedures.

The CEL-213 Random Noise Generator and CEL-212 Precision Attenu-
ator are available to provide test signals for this purpose.

SAMPLE OPERATIONS

This chapter contains straight forward examples to show how the CEL-
393 is used. A brief explanation will be given for the use of any particular
memory mode, followed by a step-by-step example of how measure-
ments are made in the mode.

Note that as all microprocessor based devices require instructions to be
given in a logical sequence, the CEL-393 commands must be entered
in the order given, otherwise certain commands may be accidentally
over-ridden or mis-interpreted.

Requirement:

Carry out a survey through a complete working day from 9.00 am to 5.00
pm in a metal working shop where there are highly impulsive noise
