6.7 X.25 Interface Co-Processor ISA Adapter (FC 2961)

This section provides information needed for installing and configuring the X.25
Interface Co-Processor ISA Adapter. This adapter can be ordered as an optional
feature on PCI-based RS/6000 servers.

The X.25 Interface Co-Processor ISA Adapter, with supporting software, enables
the attachment of an ISA-bus-compatible system to an X.25 packet-switched
network so that the computer can operate as a packet terminal.

In AIX Version 4, support for X.25 communication is provided with the IBM
AIXLink/X.25 Version 1.1 LPP (feature code 5696-926).

The device driver for X.25 Interface Co-Processor ISA Adapter is included in
devices.isa.c1x fileset that can be found in the AIX Version 4 base operation
system shipping.
