Setting or Resetting a Password
IP Phone UI
1.
Press
on the phone to enter the Options List.
2.
Press the <Password> key. The following screen displays.
3.
Press the Current Password field. A keyboard displays on the screen.
4.
Enter the current user password in the text box and press the <Enter> key on the keyboard.
5.
Press the New Password field.
6.
Enter the new user password in the text box and press the <Enter> key on the keyboard.
7.
Press the Re-enter Password field.
8.
Re-enter the new user password in the text box and press the <Enter> key on the keyboard. A message, "Password
Changed" displays on the screen.
9.
Press the
to return to the previous menu or press the
to return to the idle screen.
Aastra Web UI
1.
Click on Operation->User Password.
2.
In the "Current Password" field, enter the current user password.
3.
In the "New Password" field, enter the new user password.
4.
In the "Password Confirm" field, enter the new user password again.
5.
Click Save Settings.
