Accessing and Searching the Directory
Use the following procedures to access and search for entries in your Directory List.
Using the Search Feature in the Directory
IP Phone UI
1.
Press the Directory Key
. The Directory screen displays. The screen is blank if the Directory is empty. The
following main Directory screen shows 11 entries in the Directory List.

Use the
and
keys to navigate the list to look for an entry.
3.
Press the entry to display a single entry’s details.

Press the Search key
on the main Directory screen. A keyboard displays.
2.
Enter the name or phone number of the entry for which you are searching. As you type characters on the keyboard,
the entries beginning with those characters display on the screen. When you have completed your typing, the
entry you are looking for, displays on the screen and the characters you typed display in a text box.
