Web Access

You can access your printers using a web browser. You can monitor the
status, open an operator panel, check the configurations, and access the
printer web page.

NOTE:

To access your printer using a web browser, you must enable the
Web Server and XML Server services (see page 31). Remember to
exit and restart PNE to enable the service.

The PNE Web Site URL Address

Open a web browser. In the URL address field, type http://, followed by
the host IP address of the workstation running PNE or the host name
(computer name, not case-sensitive), followed by a colon (:), and then the
Web Server port number (see page 31).

For example:

http://10.224.5.121:8080

or:

http://lab21042:8080

NOTE:

Make sure the port number does not conflict with another port number
designated for a different purpose.
