1. Overview

Position check upon
power on
Judgment using a reed switch or
other external detection sensor.
When the power is turned on, mechanical
coordinates are not stored in the controller and thus
the current position is not yet determined.
For this reason, a rear end move command must be
executed after the power has been turned on, in
order to establish coordinates.
The actuator performs homing first, and then moves
to the rear end.
[1] The actuator moves toward the mechanical end
on the motor side at the homing speed.
[2] The actuator contacts the mechanical end,
reverses its direction, and stops temporarily at
the home position.
[3] The actuator moves to the rear end at the
speed set in the “Speed” field of the position
table.
(Note) Make sure there is no obstacle along the
homing path.
