6.2.5 Setting of damping (F2-)

Function F21 allows damping the output with a certain time constant (63% value). Normally the time constant
is set to 1 sec.
The selection of the time constant is as follows:

6.2.6 Selection / Adjustment 4-20 mA / 0-20 mA (F3-)

Function F3- sets the current output to 4-20 mA or 0-20 mA. In addition, offset and span have to be
readjusted. Offset compensation is for fine tuning the 0 or 4 mA point. Span or range compensation is for
precise adjustment of the 20 mA point.
For compensating the output, an ampere metre (mA) should be connected to the circuit loop. For wiring refer
to the diagrams in chapter 3.
The current output is set according to customer specifications at the factory.
