• VOL: Volume manipulated during the operation. This volume is located in the local array.

The number to the left of the colon (:) is the CU number. The number to the right of the

colon is the LDEV number.

• Paired VOL: Volume paired with the manipulated volume. This volume is located in the remote

array. The number to the left of the colon (:) is the CU number. The number to the right

of the colon is the LDEV number.

• Operation: Operation performed.

• Pair definition: Data volume pair was defined.
• Paircreate Start: Creation of data volume pair was started.
• Paircreate Complete: Creation of data volume pair was finished.
• Pairresync Start: Restoring data volume pair was started.
• Pairresync Complete: Restoring data volume pair was finished.
• Pairsplit-r Start: Splitting (Suspending) data volume pair was started.
• Pairsplit-r Complete: Splitting (Suspending) data volume pair was finished.
• Pairsplit-r(Failure): Data volume pair was split (suspended) because of a failure.
• Pairsplit-S Start: Deleting data volume pair was started.
• Pairsplit-S Complete: Deleting data volume pair was finished.
• Status Change by MCU(SMPL to COPY): Status of data volume pair was changed from

SMPL to COPY because of an operation from the primary array.

• Status Change by MCU(SMPL to PAIR): Status of data volume pair was changed from SMPL

to PAIR because of an operation from the primary array.

• Status Change by MCU(COPY to PAIR): Status of data volume pair was changed from

COPY to PAIR because of an operation from the primary array.

• Status Change by MCU(COPY to PSUS/PSUE): Status of data volume pair was changed

from COPY to PSUS or PSUE because of an operation from the primary array.

• Status Change by MCU(PAIR to PSUS/PSUE): Status of data volume pair was changed from

started at the secondary array. Status of the data volume pair changes from PAIR to SMPL.

• Status Change by RCU(Pairsplit-S Complete): Status of data volume pair was changed

because an operation for deleting a pair finished at the secondary array.

• Unknown: Array could not identify the operation.
