Setting the RAID XP Manager user environmental variable

In the following procedure, the environment variables HORCMINST and HORCC_MRCF are corrected

corresponding to a system configuration. This setup is performed on the four nodes (CL1 and CL2 of the

cluster to which the Continuous Access XP Journal P-VOL is connected, and CL1 and CL2 of the cluster

in which the S-VOL is used).

1.

At both sites, set up the environment variable of the RAID Manager XP instance:
sudo horc_setenv HORCMINST 16 (for instance number 16)
sudo horc_setenv HORCMINST 17 (for instance number 17)

2.

At both sites, set up the HOMRCF command environment variable of the RAID Manager XP as

Continuous Access XP Journal:
sudo horc_unsetenv HORCC_MRCF

3.

If you logged in to the target NAS package using SSH and set up as explained in step 1 and step 2,

confirm the setup by logging out of the NAS package and then logging back in:
exit
