Front Panel Editor

Access the Front Panel Editor by simultaneously pressing the up
and down

arrow keys on the terminal keypad.

Note: While the Front Panel Editor is active, the terminal suspends
Run Mode operations. No messages are triggered or displayed until
you return the terminal to Run mode.

The Front Panel Editor has a menu which you can scroll through.
Each item except the first opens a submenu with more options.

Highlighted text indicates
the RS-232 configuration
not currently selected.

Change Port To:
ASCII Input
Langue Sprache Lingua
Lengua Language

Serial
Communication
Preset Operations
Terminal Setup
Self Tests
Hist. Event Stack
Date/ Time
System Status

Note: The options enclosed by the solid rectangle represent the
display when the Front Panel Editor is first brought up. The selected
item is highlighted.

The options enclosed by the dotted line are other items in the FPE
menu.

To select a menu item:

1. Use the up

or down

arrow keys to scroll to the item that

you want to view or edit.

2. Press the Enter

key to select the highlighted menu item.

3. If a menu appears, repeat the above two steps.

4. To return to the main menu, press the Ack

key.

To exit the Front Panel Editor and return to Run Mode:

Press the Ack

key

Or simultaneously press the up

and down

arrow keys.

Or reset the terminal by simultaneously pressing the up

and

down

arrow and Enter

keys.
