Med

Twice a second (0.5 sec. on/off)

High

Ten times a second (0.1 sec. on/off)

Note: The flash rate of the text in the dialog box shows how
flashing text will appear with the current setting. This helps you
decide which flash rate will work best.

3. Press the Enter

key to save the setting and return to the

Terminal Setup submenu.

Or press the Ack

key to return to the Terminal Setup

submenu without saving anything.

4. Press the Ack

key to return to the FPE menu.

The status of the terminal is checked every time it is powered up or
restarted, using the Power On Self Test (POST). Individual parts of
the system may also be checked using the Self Tests on the Front
Panel Editor menu.

Note: If you suspect that more than one test may be needed, don’t
select several tests from the menu. It is more efficient to cycle power,
or to select the Watchdog Reset test, and have the terminal perform
all its Power On Self Tests (POST).

To perform a Self Test:

1. Select Self Tests from the Front Panel Editor menu. Press the

Enter
