3 = match code table entry #3 is specified.
1 = match operation enabled.
01 = Code 39.
05 = 5 characters long.
MATCH = match sequence MATCH.
CR = end of message code for Carriage Return.
00 = “command complete” response code.

Function:

Write match code entry n if the sequence meets the code
rules.

Response:

=rr<end>

Comments:

MW = Write match code command.

= match code table entry number This value must be from

1 to 8.

= enable/disable match code operation:

1- enabled
0- disabled

cc

= code type:

01- Code 39
02- Interleaved 2 of 5
03- Codabar
04- UPC-A
05- UPC-E
06- EAN-8
07- EAN-13
08- CODE 128

ll =

indicates the number of characters in the match

sequence. This must be a value from 0 to 32

string = characters in the match code sequence.

<end> = end of message code.

rr = response code, refer to Table 7.B
