Installing System Components

If you are permanently removing a processor, you must install a socket

protective cap in the vacant socket to protect the pins and keep the socket

free from dust.

NOTE:

In single processor configurations, a processor must be installed in socket

CPU1. Install the blanks in socket CPU2 only.
