9.2 OAM Peer Information

The OAM Peer Information screen (Figure 9-3) displays information about the OAM peer for a
particular Ethernet-like interface. Each screen contains Link OAM status and configuration for
two ports.

OAM entities communicate with a single OAM peer entity on Ethernet links on which OAM is
enabled and operating properly. There is one entry in this table for each port for which
information on the peer OAM entity is available.

The OAM Peer Information screen displays details about OAM Peer Status, OAM Peer MAC
Address, OAM Peer Vendor, OAM Peer Vendor Info (Hex), OAM Peer Mode, OAM Peer Max
PDU Size, OAM Peer Config Revision, and OAM Peer Functions Supported.

From the Link OAM screen, select OAM Peer Information (2) and press Enter. The OAM Peer
Information screen (Figure 9-3) opens. To navigate to different ports, use the (N)ext and
(P)revious commands. Press Esc to return to the Link OAM menu.
