AUTO SETUP
■ Troubleshooting for auto setup procedure
Before auto setup

OPTIMIZER MIC jack on the front panel.

Errors during auto setup
Error message Cause Remedy

detected.
• Select the front speakers with SPEAKERS A/B.
• Check the front left and right speaker connections.
• Turn on the power to the external amplifier (wdten tlte
front speaker signals are output from an external
amplifier).

E:.F'REEiE,. :5E' Only one presence channel signal is delected. • Cheek the presence speaker connections.

detected. • Conned Ihe surround back speaker to Ihe LEFT
SURROUND BACK SPEAKERS terminal if you
only have one surround back speaker.

Background noise is loo loud. • Try Ihe auto setup procedure in a quid environment.
• Turn off noisy electric equipment like air conditioners
(etc.) or move them away from the optimizer
microphone.

* Conned surround speakers when you use (a)
surround back speaker(s).

during the auto setup procedure. * Do not touch the optimizer microphone during the
auto setup procedure.

tones. • Check the microphone setting.
• Check the speaker connections and placement.

user activity. * Perform the auto setup procedure again. Do not adjust
VOLUME (etc.) during the auto setup procedure.
