ALLOCATE RESOURCES MENU
The mainframe resources menu is a submenu of the Application Main menu. It can
be used to allocate hardware resources from the connected mainframe to the given
application.
The dialog title holds the application name (selected in the Application Main menu)
as resource and the title ”Mainframe Resources” as the addressed area. The ap-
plication name is backlighted green which is the color that identifies the actual ap-
plication.
The online indicator displays the editing status determined by the Application Main
menu.
Each logical video hardware resource of the mainframe is represented by a select
button within the menu. Basically a select button can be displayed in one of three
colors which represents the relation to available applications:
grey
is used if the resource belongs to the ”default” (0) application.
yellow
is used if the resource is allocated by a foreign, userdefined
application.
green
is used if the resource is allocated by the application that is
just edited.
The color of the cursor is blue.
