Hardware Interface (Interface Type)
Description
This menu item configures the hardware connection used for an AI296 link. The
following hardware connections are available:

RS232
—A data transmission standard that defines the characteristics for
connecting DTE and DCE data communications devices.
z
RS530
—A data transmission standard that is similar to RS232, but with support for
higher data rates (ranging from 20 Kbps to 2 Mbps).
