Start Trigger

– enables data collection to be started manually, by event or by time. For example, select

Definitions
Data Log Files

– this list shows the filename (up to 16) and the number of records associated with each.

Select the filename to display and edit the information in the adjacent window.
File Information

– description and status of the log file is shown here.

Log Records

is the number of records to be saved in the log file. Click on the value to edit.

Log Limit

changes depending on the number of signals selected and the number of records in the other

log files.

NOTE:

Recommended size is up to seven signals and a maximum one thousand entries, as very large log files

may not be viewable. If the datalog screen comes up blank, the log is too large to be displayed.

File Save Option

enables a FIFO (first in first out) or “Stop when full” means of data collection.

Log Signals

allows selection of log signals from a list (max. 32) See Figure 89.

Log Frequency

– determines how often the data is collected. The default time interval is 60 seconds

and the range is from ten to 86,400 seconds (24 hours). An interval may also be set based upon when a

selected signal changes by the Delta Level; click on the value to edit.
