CP-72 CHARACTER FORMAT

The MLP-Drive uses three different character formats. Enter the number for the
required format, as listed below.

1 = 8 Data Bits, No Parity, One Stop Bit
2 = 7 Data Bits, Even Parity, One Stop Bit
3 = 8 Data Bits, No Parity, Two Stop Bits

CP-73 CONTROL MASK

The Serial Communications can control some of the digital input functions. Enter the
number for the required functions, as listed below.

0 = F–Stop only
1 = F–Stop, Run, R–Stop
2 = F–Stop, Master/Follower, Setpoint Select
3 = All of the Above

MP-58 SERIAL COMMUNICATIONS ERROR

Serial Communications Error identifies errors in the last transmitted message that was
sent to the MLP-Drive by the host computer. The mode that displays a number “1”
indicates the error. In the example below, “Invalid Parameter Code” is the error.
