Allocating the plotter to a marker type

Every marker type must be allocated a printer or a plotter.

If no printer has been mapped to any or all of the marker types to be printed, confirming the
message shown sends the data to the default printer.

Open the print dialog by selecting File >

Print…

Mark the marker type to which you wish to allocate a printer in the panel at the bottom of the
window, select a printer from the "Printer" drop-down list and click on Map to confirm your
selection.

The selected printer and marker type are automatically mapped whenever printing takes
place.

In the window that now opens, choose whether you wish to allocate the printer/plotter
selected as a printer or plotter.

If you select "as plotter", the printing is subjected to the limitations of the Plot Mode.

You can cancel this setting at any time via the Options dialog (see "Adapting the printer
allocation").

If you select a marker type that cannot be allocated to any plotter, a warning appears.
