Configure the Adapter for Direct Connection and Rack Optimization in RSLogix 5000 Software Chapter 5
3. Choose the 1734-OV4E/C module and click OK.
The New Module dialog opens.

4. From the New Module dialog, complete the following:
– Enter a value for Name.
– Enter a value for Slot.
– Click Change to modify the module definition values.
The Module Definition dialog opens.
5. For Connection, select Data.
This configures the controller to make a Direct I/O Connection to the
module.
6. Click OK.
