Chapter 1 EtherNet/IP Overview

modules fit into a control system.

In this example, these actions can occur over the EtherNet/IP network:
• Controllers produce and consume tags.
• Controllers initiate MSG instructions that send and receive data or
configure devices.
• Workstations upload or download projects to the controllers
