Riser Card Assembly

The CG2100 server has a PCI riser assembly that supports the installation of both PCI-
X and PCI Express* add-in cards. There are three riser card options that can each use
the super slot on the T5520UR server board (the baseboard).

Once PCI add-in cards are installed and the riser card assembly is remounted in the
chassis, the cards are accessible from the rear of the server chassis. There are two
slots for low profile PCIe add-in cards and three slots for full-length PCI-X/PCIe
add-in cards.

Figure 8 shows the possible PCI card configurations with the different riser card
options.
