2.4.1

How to save an Edited Effect Program

If you have edited one of these Presets, the resulting Original Effect Program will be STORED to a USER program
location. The steps to STORE an EDIT are:

1. Edit the program title as you like (See 4.3 TITLE EDIT).

2. While still in the EDIT Mode, press the [STORE] function key once.

3. Select the Location that you’d like to STORE to by using the [DATA WHEEL]. The PROGRAM NUMBER

will flash and the LCD will display the currently selected location.

4. After you have selected the new program location, press [STORE] again to complete the procedure. The LCD

display will momentarily read “PROGRAM STORE” and confirm the operation.

The FX770 will return to the PLAY Mode after each STORE procedure, thus automatically exiting the EDIT Mode.
For complete information about the EDIT and STORE functions, please refer to Section 4 of this Manual.

2.5 HOW TO SELECT AND USE THE BUILT-IN TUNER

(SIMPLE OPERATION)

The FX770 is equipped with a full function chromatic guitar TUNER that is accessed when the Bypass Mode is selected.
The guitar sound can be passed to the output uneffected or the sound can be muted for “silent tuning” on stage, depending
on how the Bypass function is set. Follow the steps below to use the built-in Tuner. For complete details of the Tuner and
Bypass Modes, please read Section 3.1 of this manual.

1. The TUNER can only be accessed from the PLAY Mode. Please press the [PLAY] function key to confirm that

your FX770 is in this Mode.

2. Press the [BYPASS] key to activate the BYPASS and TUNER functions.

3. Play any string on the connected guitar and you will see the “Tuning Meter” light on the LCD as well as the LEDs

in the Effect Select Block. The note “letter” will appear in the Program Number display.
