7.4 SPECIAL NOTE CONCERNING LEVELS

Special care should be used when setting the individual Effect Output Levels located within six of the Effect Blocks. The
Compressor, Preamp, Pitch, Mod, Delay and Reverb blocks all feature parameter control over the signal flow level, this
parameter is variable from +6dB to -30dB and -°o. If the settings of these levels gets too high, it will result in “digital
clipping” and add a harshness to the sound. If any or all levels are set too low, the output of the FX770 is impaired. These
levels should only be used to “level out” the signal in an Effect Block that has raised or dropped the normal signal level of

, the FX770. At no time should the sum of all the Output Levels be greater than +6dB, thus ensuring a clean and manageable

signal path.
