5.7 MFC06 EFFECT ON/OFF CONTROL ASSIGNMENT

FX770 effects can be switched on and off using an optional Yamaha MFC06 MIDI Foot Controller. MFC06 switches [1]
to [5] can be assigned to any of the nine FX770 Effects Blocks.

MFC06 EFFECT ON/OFF ASSIGN SETTING

1. Press the [UTILITY] key until the LCD display shown above appear.

2. Move the cursor to the left, and select MFC06 switches [1] to [5] using the [DATA WHEEL] button.

3. Move the cursor to the right, and select an FX770 effect block using the [DATA WHEEL] button.

t Please stick the supplied Effects Block stickers onto the MFC06.

5.8 MIDI BULK DATA OUTPUT

The MIDI Bulk Out function makes it possible to transmit a bulk data dump of a single Program, multiple Programs, System

setup, the Program Change Table of a single Bank, or all of the above via the MIDI Out/Thru port. This is great for archiving
or for making safety backups of your important FX770 Data.

The MIDI Bulk Out display on the LCD contain the following information:

- Data Type

MIDI BULK IDLIT

BFlHKii ALL

Data Type selects the type of DATA to be sent out the MIDI out jack.

To Transmit MIDI Data:

1. Set the MIDI Out/Thru switch on the Rear Panel to the “Out” position.

2. Press the [UTILITY] key until the LCD display appears as above.

3. Use the [DATA WHEEL] to select the MIDI Data Type that you wish to transmit.

Available MIDI data Types include:

ALL

All Program, System, and Program Change Table Data

SYSTEM System set-up data (i.e. current Utility settings, etc.)
PROGRAM The data for the specified Memory location(s)
BANK

The MIDI Program Change Table of the selected Bank

4. If you select either Program or Bank, use the [►] cursor key and [DATA WHEEL] to select the Program

number or All Programs, or to select the Bank (A - G or All Banks) that you wish to transmit.

5. Press the [STORE] key to begin the MIDI Data Transmission.

FX770 Bulk data is sent on the MIDI Channel specified by the MIDI CHANNEL parameter. See section 5.5. If
this parameter is set to OMNI, Bulk data is sent on MIDI Channel 1.
