4.2 NOISE GATE

The FX770 features a convenient and easy to use programmable NOISE GATE. This specially designed noise gate can
be used to eliminate excessive noise from your guitar or from super high-gain preamp settings. Each Effect Program can
have its own level of noise reduction as determined by the setting of the NOISE GATE value. Care should be taken when
selecting extremely high Noise Gate settings as not to “over gate” the ends of sustaining notes.

TO SELECT THE NOISE GATE FUNCTION:

Press the [EDIT] key until the display appears as below. Use the [DATA WHEEL] to increase or decrease the noise
gate value. A setting of 0 (zero) is off and a setting of 20 (twenty) is the highest, resulting in the greatest level of
noise reduction.
