Parameter control (CONTROL CHANGE, etc.)

The FX770 can receive two Control Change messages simultaneously. This means that you can change two
parameters of the effects being used in performance at the same time. In this way, you can add a variety of nuances
in real time.

1. Set the channel in “5.5 MIDI Channel” on page 26 so that the channel will match that of the MIDI transmission

device. Selecting “OMNI” will send the data on all channels.

2.

Set the MIDI CTRL Source (“5.6 MIDI Controller 1 & 2 Source Assignment” on page 26) to match the control

number of the MIDI transmission device.

3. Select the parameter you wish to control in “4.6 MIDI Controller 1 & 2 Effect Target” on page 19, and set the

range.

4.

Connect the MIDI transmission device to the MIDI IN port on the rear panel.

Controller 1 and 2 have the same function. However, you cannot select the same parameter for both controllers
simultaneously.
Select a Control number from the following options.
